Hard vacuum test – steel drums

Our in-line leak testing systems are designed for extremely accurate leak testing for a wide variety of drums and similar products. It`s smart design provides a fully automatic solution with a high capacity rate that can be implemented to provide a zero defects production output.

For this specific project, the Hard vacuum test was used. The hard vacuum test (using helium as tracer gas) is the most precise method to automatically leak test a product (up to 10-8 mbar*l/s). This test can be performed with active helium supply or with products that are pre-filled with helium. Verborg Engineering B.V. is able to do both of these versions.

On top of that, this system was also combined with a pressure decay test. Multiple different kinds of products (in this case tight head and open head drums) were able to be tested on one system.
