Drum palletizer
Palletizing made easier with ergonomic efficiency.
This semi-automatic palletizer is custom made for it's designated space. It's ergonomic design is user-friendly, making it easy for operators to stack drums on different levels on the pallet. With the ability to lower the pallet deeper into the floor, the machine provides a way to stack the drums on ground level every time a new row of drums is started.
Featuring four separate palletizing units operating independently, this setup enables four operators to palletize simultaneously. This concurrent operation significantly boosts the factory's palletizing capacity.
A normal stacking sequence from an operator's perspective is as follows:
- Lift station is up. After having loaded 4 drums on the pallet and pushing the “next step button”, the lift will move to the middle position.
- Lift station is in middle position. After having loaded 4 drums and pushing the “next step button”, the lift will move down.
- Lift station is down. After having loaded the 4 final drums and pushing the “next step button”, the lift will move to the unload position.
- Lift station is in unload position. The “walky” barrier will lower and the traffic light will switch over from red to green, allowing a forklift to pick up the pallet and move it somewhere else.
- Now the stack can be unloaded. After unloading and pushing the “next step” button, the traffic light will turn red, and the “walky” barrier will raise. The lift table will move to the upper position.
This machine was specifically adjusted to the existing line and available area at our customer's location. By placing special fencing behind the system the "underground" parts of the system can be reached for maintenance.
